Garlic Cheddar Bay Biscuits Servings – 8 Prep Time – 5 Minutes Cook Time – 15 Minutes Ingredients:


  • 2 cups quick-carb mix

  • 1/4 cup cold butter cut into cubes

  • 1/2 cup cream

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions:


Prepare oven to 350.


Measure carb-quick into a large mixing bowl. Add garlic powder and salt.


Using two knives or pastry cutter, cut in the diced cold butter. Mix until well incorporated. Mixture will be grainy with pea sized pieces of butter.


In a measuring cup mix cream and water. Add to flour and butter mixture, mix well. Slightly sticky dough will form.


Add shredded cheese, mix well.


Measure out six equal balls of dough, roll into balls. Place 2″ apart on prepared cookie sheet. Flatten each ball to one inch thick.


Bake on top oven rack and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Remove biscuits from pan and place on a cooling rack to cool.


Serve slightly warm with a pat of butter.
