Keto Cheese Burgers
Delicious juicy burgers with very low carb buns... See you can still have it all!
Ingredients
- 1 recipe Almond buns recipe Link to recipe in instruction 5
- 1 lb Ground beef 80Fat/20Lean or ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt more to taste
- 1 teaspoon Pepper more to taste
- 4 Iceburg lettuce leaves
- 2 Roma tomatoes
- 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese Sub for your choice of cheese
- Dill pickle slices optional
Instructions

Place ground beef or turkey in large mixing bowl. Add garlic, salt and pepper, mix well.

Divide raw meat into four 1/4 sections. Roll each section into a ball and flatten into a burger patty measuring 1/2" thick.

Grill, broil or fry your burger patties to medium-medium well. (Or to your cooking satisfaction. Warning consuming raw or under-cooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, eggs or unpasteurized milk may increase your risk of food-borne illness.) Before removing from grill or frying pan, place a slice of cheese on each patty.

Prep your condiments by slicing your tomatoes into 1/4-1/2" slices. Wash and dry your lettuce leaves.

Slice 4 almond buns in half. Place a tablespoon of mayonnaise on each top half of the almond bun. (You may toast your almond buns on the grill or frying pan, spread with a little butter.)

Build your burger! Place a melted cheese covered patty on each bottom slice of the almond bun, top with lettuce, tomato, and pickle slices. Cover with mayonnaise coated top bun slice.
